This charming hotel exceeded our expectations in so many ways. the location was ideal for exploring the beautiful Munster valley and the nearby mountain ranges of the Vosges. We were able to easily visit attractions such as St Hubert restaurant in nearby Gunsbach. Secondly, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. They spoke multiple languages, including German and English, which made communication a breeze. We felt truly taken care of during our stay. Thirdly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, with a spacious layout and a bed that provided a great night's sleep. Lastly, the breakfast spread was delicious, with a variety of local products like fresh bread, croissants, ham, and cheeses. It was the perfect start to our days of exploration.
No improvements needed, this hotel was fantastic in every way.

We loved the warmhearted welcome by the couple who runs the hotel, their really personal approach, precise tourist information and sense for detail. The hotel is very clean (excellent daily room service), nice & practical interior and equipment is at high level (*** or more). We booked a comfort twin room for 60 EUR/night and it was really spacious. Everything in the hotel was perfect and wifi connection was fast. Being in Munster is convenient - close to shops/culture (Munster is very welcoming to tourists) and also close to the mountains & nature.
The hotel lies near the crossroad of quiet Rue Badischhof and a frequented road d10 connecting Munster and Colmar. In summer it was difficult for us to sleep with open window due to noise from cars. But with closed window (and in winter) this is no problem (window has good sound isolation). The owner was very helpful and offered to us to move to a room facing the back side. The new room was also very nice and it was absolutely quiet there but all the rooms at the back side are quite small.

The reception lady has the pedestrain routes maps of the region which was very convenient. Right opposite the hotel there is a supermarket with fresh cheeses and pastry - alternative breakfast :)
Very small room (but there are bigger ones for the same money). Sound isolation was not perfect.

Very clean, staff is really nice. The self service bar is also a great thing to have. It is really quiet and the environment is relaxed. Great location for biking though.
Clearly a place for elders rather than youngsters. Things are kind of turning off completely when the sun goes down. The breakfast is served by the staff which doesn't really makes it better. Everything is strictly portioned and extra priced if you go for something extra from the menu. Base menu is mostly juice, bread and butter. Situated near Munster, the location is nice due to nature sights, but the surrounding does not really offer great options for dining out or visiting habitable places. It suits really well those who are strictly looking for relaxing and sleeping a lot.

The staff were helpful and cute, recommending great restaurants in the area and providing us with information on various activities to do nearby. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, including a lovely garden outside. the parking was highly convenient and we had no trouble finding transportation. Breakfast was satisfying with a good variety of options.
No negatives from this place.

Very friendly service, charming hosts, warm ambience. Very clean hotel, excellent breakfast. Good location in a beautiful valley (Munster Valley of the Vosges).
On the hotel website the map of the hotel's location was a bit confusing as the map did not include the centre of Munster and the location of Munster railway station. This would be useful for those arriiving at the hotel on foot.

Lastly, the breakfast spread was simply delicious, featuring an array of local products that added to the overall experience.
Everything was more than satisfactory, nothing to improve.

This is a thoroughly properly run hotel in an excellent location to tour Alsace. It is very easy to find and access. It says 2 stars but in many respects (particularly the room, which is of course the most important thing) I would rate it as worth 3 stars. Much better value than one of the well known hotel chains in this price range. You also get the feeling that the owners really do care about getting everything right and are genuinely friendly. As a Logis inspected place you experience the benefits of their 500 point checklist. This traditionally run hotel is very hard to fault. It does everything it says on the label.
